Technical Assistance (TA) is an opportunity for early childhood education (ECE) programs licensed by the State of Alaska or Municipality of Anchorage to receive consultation services from thread. Technical Assistance (TA) is the provision of targeted and customized supports by a professional(s) with subject matter and adult learning knowledge and skills to develop or strengthen processes, knowledge application, or implementation of services by recipients.
Consultation can involve thread working with the program administrator and/or individual teachers.
This work focuses on universal social emotional supports that will benefit
all the children and looks specifically at the nurturing and responsive
relationships between the teachers and the children as well as the quality of
the supportive environment. This work will also include assuring a program
has systems and policies in place to sustain the changes and can be voluntary
as identified by the facility or based on recommendations from licensing.
This support will be provided either onsite, virtually or through email
and phone.
