Introduction
thread is committed to supporting early childhood education (ECE) programs and educators with relationship-based professional development/technical assistance (RBPD/TA) through training, observation, consultation, reflection, and coaching. Through this process, thread’s professional development specialists (PDS) will partner with educators to make quality improvements to classroom environments and early childhood education programs. thread’s PDS will start by looking at foundational, universal, evidence-based best practices shown to benefit all children in early childhood education programs, such as schedules, routines, transitions, and adult and child interactions.

This work will be done following a coaching cycle using tools to determine program or classroom needs through focused observation, shared goals, action planning, and reflective conversations. This work may be done in-person, virtually, asynchronously, individually, with a group, or through a combination of delivery methods.

In addition to this agreement, if consultation regarding an individual child is requested, a release of information signed by the parent(s), and involvement of the parent(s)/guardian(s) will also be needed.
