STEADY CHILD CARE: MUNICIPALITY OF ANCHORAGE CHILD CARE AND EARLY EDUCATION SECTOR STIMULUS PROGRAM APPLICATION

thread is excited to partner with the Anchorage Child Care and Early Education (ACCEE) Board, Municipality of Anchorage's (MOA) Assembly, and Mayor's Office on the Steady Child Care: Municipality of Anchorage Child Care and Early Education Sector Stimulus Program. The funding for this program comes from the Anchorage Child Care and Early Education Fund. Approximately $2.3M will be available in 2025 for eligible MOA licensed child care programs, American Camp Association (ACA) accredited programs, and non-relative providers who provide care to four or fewer children and meet the noted requirements.

Steady Child Care is intended to support existing child care and early education programs located in the MOA. The funding is available to eligible programs that apply during the designated application period, who meet all requirements, and provide a completed application with required attachments. The application period is June 9, 2025, through July 6, 2025. Please note that programs with multiple sites must submit an application for each licensed site.

Eligibility
  • Child care programs must be located in the Municipality of Anchorage.
  • Child care programs must be licensed by the Municipality of Anchorage, OR accredited by the American Camp Association, OR be non-relative providers who provide legal child care to four or fewer children who are not relatives.
  • Non-relative providers must have a State of Alaska business license. 
Provider Category

In this form, you’ll be asked to identify the type of child care program you operate. Please review the definitions below to choose the category that best describes your program. All programs must be located within the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA).

  • Licensed Child Care Program - A child care program that is licensed by the Municipality of Anchorage to provide child care services.

  • ACA-Accredited Program - A child care program that is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA).

  • Non-Relative Provider - A child care provider who cares for four or fewer unrelated children. These providers must have a valid State of Alaska business license.

Complete the Application   
  • Complete the application below, including uploading IRS Form W9. Questions with an (*) require a response.  
  • Read the acknowledgement statement. 
  • Check the signature box and type your name. 
  • Submit the application.
