Pre-Elementary and Head Start Coaching and/or Training Stipend Application
Introduction
Coaching and/or training stipends are available this year for individual early childhood educators working in a DEED Pre-elementary or Head Start program that is actively participating in Learn & Grow and has achieved at least Learn & Grow Level 1 and working to achieve Level 2 or 3. These stipends are intended to help offset teacher time in the completion of coaching and training.
Stipends will vary in amount based on the total number of applications received and the type of stipend.

Each applicant must have an active Alaska SEED Registry profile. Log in to the

All training certificates or transcripts (other than completed

trainings which are uploaded by

) MUST be uploaded to applicant's Alaska SEED Registry profile.
Applicants are eligible for one coaching
OR
one training stipend.*
Applicants are eligible if the training or coaching series was completed between 2016 and June of 2026.
Note: University courses related to one of the required Learn & Grow trainings completed prior to 2016 are also valid.
If received a coaching or training stipend in 2025, applicants are not eligible for the same stipend but could receive a stipend associated with next level of training completed.
Valid coaching series must be completed by a

Verification of a completed coaching series is submitted via the

Program administrators are only eligible to apply for a training stipend, but priority funding is allocated to classroom teachers.
*NOTE: A handful of pre-approved individuals are also working on their CDA.
